The great and phenomenal Chumani Ngojo and Nu Praize is once again in the running for the coveted prize in the 2016 SABC Crown Gospel Awards to be held in the Durban International Convention Centre on November 27.

They are strong contenders in the category: Best Collaboration.

They are confident of representing the Western Cape in their nomination, second year running.

This nomination counts will be the third from them overall, if their first, in 2013, is anything to go by.

Then, the were nominated and won in the category, Best Praise Album.

Founder Chumani Ngojo was elated at the announcement of this nomination.

“”Sharing the news to the entire team, since the nomination is from our latest Live CD, DVD album that was recorded live at the Artscape theatre, was the icing on the cake.””

We thank everyone who has been supportive of this ministry and God given vision.

“God has been wonderful and faithful in our ministry and I thank Him for blessing us with these kids to carry this vision(forward).

This album is doing well following the tour we are doing throughout South Africa,” he said, laughing.

Ngojo said they will not stop until every house owned a copy(of the album) and “we are working hard towards fulfilling one of our bigger goals for 2017, filling up a stadium on Coronation 2017, No Cross No Crown”.
