Zibonele FM presenter Fundi Ntshwani is a vibrant, bubbly, loving, strong and ambitious go getter who knows what she wants.Q - What do you believe in?A - In love, anything painted with love turns colourful, be it your career, friends, or Family.Q- Is there a lucky guy or girl in your life?A -There is definitely a lucky guy and my mom wants lobola hey.Q- Who is the guy, details please .A- No, I can only call him ‘Baby’, he happens to be a well-known guy so I don’t like mentioning his name, he is an artist.Q- Are you stealing the guy from someone?A- Hell no, my line of work does not allow me to do that, this one is mine am sure.Q - You do Love issues on your Radio Show, does ‘Baby’ understand when you sweet talk other men on air?A - It helps that he is a bit of a romantic and he understands me. We met 2012, separated, we just found each other again last year August. He supports me, he also works with people.Q – Plans to get hitched? A - He must still earn my whole heart and that special finger. Maybe we both need to prove to each other that we want to grow old together.Q - What is it that we don’t know about Fundie ?A - I get hurt easily and usually hides it. I don’t like hating though, it takes too much effort and energy.Q - Why work on Radio?A - My personality and the power radio has, people listen to you without even noticing that they are listening and getting that attention. I love the effect radio has in our lives and the love from those listening to you, depending on you to entertain or educate them.Q - Did you have any experience when you joined Zibonele FM?A – Not at all , Zibonele scrubbed me fresh from school ,where I studies Business Management ,I wanted to be in advertising but through all the training workshops Zibonele FM offers am now a respected radio personality .Q -Where do you see yourself in Broadcasting?A – I think I want to be a broadcasting Manager nothing beyond that because it will deny me the fun of being on radio. I wouldn’t want to stop presenting a show though, even when growing older I would like to present a relevant show.Q- what is the disadvantage of being famous?A – People forget that you are human, have a past, skeletons and shortfalls, they do not expect any wrong from you.Q- What can you change about working for a community radio station?A- I think it has limited chances of growth, business wise and in-terms of listenership, it prepares us young presenters for bigger things though, it skills you and opens career opportunities. .Fundi is doing a radio show, ‘Unako’ focusing on the disabled and a youth show, she also assists on a Lover’s show, ‘Ezamathando’, a voice over artist and MC on events.
