The Mfuleni Peace Monitors, a non-profit-organization that seeks to promote humanity, peace and tolerance within the communities, is asking the public to help get Siphokazi Jonas an automated wheelchair.

Siphokazi, who lives in Bardale is a member of a destitute family of seven.

The entire family relies on her disability grant as her mother recently lost her job and is struggling to find employment.

This young lady has been fearless in her adversity and has not let the situation at home and her disability deter her from fulfilling her life’s goals.

She has been awarded a bursary to study Project Management at Damelin this year.

We are inspired by her resilience and feel that it is our duty to help her in any way in which we can to fulfil her dreams for herself and the betterment of her family.

The automated wheel chair costs R25 000.00 and even though we do not have the money, we strongly believe that the chair will allow this young lady to be independent and will be invaluable for her as she pursues her studies. We therefore appeal to the public in the spirit of Ubuntu to assist us to make the dreams of this extraordinary young lady to come true.

Assistance can be in the form of monetary contributions, the full purchase of the wheel chair or school and grocery supplies for her and her family.

At Mfuleni Peace Monitors we believe in humanity and also know that we are blessed more in giving than in receiving.

Do not hesitate to contact me, Mfuleni Peace Monitors on 078 9535455 should you need any further details.
