Here’s a chance for entrepreneurial training

Are you interested in starting your own business or are you a currently owning a business, and wants to learn how to boost your small business operation.

And, would you like to learn how to get started by transforming your idea into a strong business project.

If so, the Philippi Village Hub will be running a 5-day training programme specifically geared to assist and inspire entrepreneurs and start-ups. Its starts from April 4th to 8th.

Here, you’ll learn key strategies to evolve your business, develop your business skills, and achieve success in both the short and long term.

You’ll receive free models and templates and discover how to develop the right philosophy, marketing skills and knowledge to run a successful and sustainable business.

This valuable course aims at empowering individuals on their entrepreneurial journey, while also developing essential business and life skills.

It is highly practical, builds up on existing skills and allows students to express themselves and their creativity. Mornings will constitute personal and business skill workshops and mentoring processes, whilst candidates will have the afternoons to work on their business ideas and proposals.

On the final day, Friday 8th April, candidates will have the chance to present and pitch their business proposals in a ‘Dragon’s Den’-type environment.

The winning proposal will receive an incredible Social Impact Fund requiring less than a R1million of subsidy.

Prizes for runners-up will include 40-hours per week free access to wifi connectivity and a hot-desk in the Hub. The course costs R50 per participant.

The Philippi Village Hub, as a newly launched entrepreneurial development place, provides a space where entrepreneurs and businesses can grow; where residents can develop skills and increase their chances of employment.

Here, entrepreneurs are encouraged to work as a cluster and collaborate, strengthen their businesses, stimulate local entrepreneurship and create promising economic future within the greater local community.
