In order to make a difference and change lives, the country’s largest brewer said it is constantly looking for mentors in its campaign called #BeTheMentor.

The campaign, which aims to curb underage drinking, asks young adults to be mentors as the youth can more easily identify with them.

Mentors are ordinary people who have chosen to share their life lessons with someone who could do with a little help.

Fezile Hlangana from Cape Town is one of the new mentors. He is passionate about youth development. In a nutshell, he is a determined, disciplined, dedicated and driven person.

Hlangana was born and bred in Cape Town and is a community builder and a pioneer in his own way.

He has dared to tread the road less travelled and is not afraid to take calculated risks.

He makes most of opportunities that come his way and brave enough to carve new growth platforms.

Hlangana is a media and soccer professional and believes in lifelong learning and the power of education.

He is currently studying towards a master’s degree in Corporate Strategic Communication.

His hobbies include sport, reading and socialising and helping in whatever way he can.

Hlangana is a candle that ignites other sparks without losing its flame.

For more information about the campaign, contact Katherine Joynt on 083 299 6750.

“Take the opportunity and make a difference... the power to change a life is in your hands an be the mentor you wish you had,” he said.
