Accolades and plaudits will be thrown around when township business are appreciated through the first ever annual Ikapa Business Awards organised by Rough Stones Communications (RSC) in November.

RSC managing director Kutala Vanqa- said the awards are the highlight in the townships business calendar.

“Through these awards, we celebrate successful Kasie companies, and offer an excellent opportunity for all business sectors to meet, be inspired and showcase their achievements,” said Vanqa.

This year will see 10 different awards being given to deserving recipients, each celebrating and recognising business success across Ikapa, giving businesses from every sector the opportunity to promote and market themselves whilst at the same time inspiring other emerging entities.

Companies and organisations are allowed to enter a maximum of three categories.

All short listed companies will be entitled to two free tickets to the gala dinner and awards ceremony taking place on November 19 .

Winners will receive a certificate and a bespoke trophy. A company should be a role model for others whilst learning from more established entities. Should create hope and inspiration for local business and civic organisations.

Short listed companies are entitled to two free places at the gala dinner and awards ceremony where we are likely to be around 300 people in attendance.

Winners have the opportunity to make a speech to guests attending the dinner which include key business people from across the country. To enter, send a 150 word motivation letter about your business or preferred nominee. You can enter up to 3 business categories and email info@roughstones.co.za or call 021 8299775.
