KC ruffle feathers looking for new brooms

Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be keen on overhauling their whole strike force in the for the next season, blaming their lack of goals in 2015/16 campaign to the absence of solid strikers.

Amakhosi are currently on a five-game winless streak and haven’t scored since Erick Mathoho’s goal against Polokwane City back in February, which has seen them drop to fourth place on the Absa Premiership table.

With that in mind, we have been informed that the club are looking to rebuild their striking department once the next transfer window begins, with a host of new faces being targeted and some of the present strikers facing the exit door.

It is thought that Bidvest Wits’ Sibusiso Vilakazi, Prince Nxumalo of Ajax Cape Town and the Free State Stars duo of Sello Jafta and Moeketsi Sekola are all on the Glamour Boys’ wanted list for 2016/17 as they seek to stop the rot up-front.

Should Chiefs be successful in their attempts to lure any of the aforementioned attackers to Naturena within the next few months, then the likes of Edward Manqele and Bongani Ndulula are expected to be loaned out, sold or released by the club in order to make space.
