The annual conference of St Peters Anglican Church’s women’s manyano held a fortnight ago was hailed as a success.

The theme was centred in the book of Nehemia 2:20 - The God of Heaven Will Give Us Success.

The three-day conference which was opened by Reverend Nyaniso Gwazilitye and closed by Rector Trevor Stein encouraged women to support each in their Christian lives and in the community.

Women’s manyano leader Thandeka Tafu said there were four congregations that attended the conference.

“It was the most exciting and joyful conference for the mothers as we had some activities as well on the second day ( Saturday) and the idea of the activities was to bring love , joy , laughter and above all, to know each other better and build a strong relationship, to grow spiritually and keep our Christian values,” said Tafu.

Entertaiment performances were in three categories being : Isinxibo somakoti, traditional wear and Isinxibo somanyano komama baseTshetshi.

Father Stein said he was touched.
