Minister addresses career expo

2016-02-25 06:00

The Department of Energy will host an Energy Sector Career Expo that aims to empower grade 10-12 leaners studying Maths and Science subjects at Falsebay College on Saturday at 10am. These subjects are critical for those interested in studies in the energy related fields.

The Expo will ensure that information on energy-sector scarce skills is imparted by young professionals from the various programmes within the Department of Energy as well as our energy State Owned Companies (SOEs).

The Energy Minister, Ms Tina Joemat-Pettersson, and Ms Thandi Mahambehlala, a Member of Parliament who also serves on the Portfolio Committee on Energy, will lead the activities of the day.
