The Deputy Minister Of Rural Development and Land Reform Mcebisi Skwatsha will today

(Thursday April 26) provide feedback to about 3000 land claimants at the NY49 Stadium in Gugulethu from 10am.

Skwatsha will also use the opportunity to engage the community on the programmes of his department.

The Deputy Minister is also expected to

update the claimants on progress with regards to untraceable claimants and also explain the restitution progress to the claimants.

International music artist, Ringo Madlingozi, who, coincidentally, was also born and bred in Gugulethu, will provide entertainment .

The event will be preceded by a freedom walk from the Gugulethu 7 Memorial to NY 49 Stadium, members of the public are welcome to join.
