On Sunday evening, Buyelekhaya hitmaker, Nathi Mankayi, will return to Cape Town for the provincial launch of his third album, Iphupha Labantu.

He will perform at the Good Hope Centre with Amanda Black and is urging all his supporters to come in numbers.

“I am coming with all my guys,” he said in an interview with City Vision.

“This is an opportunity for all my fans who have not seen me in action to come and see me.”

The Eastern Cape born musician says Cape Town is his next home as it had strong ties with his home province.

“There is a lot of support for me in Cape Town and it is important for me to show that I appreciate the support I get from my supporters,” he said.

Having released his third album at the end of July, Nathi said he was excited about performing in Cape Town.

“Compared to my previous two albums, this one is mellow. It is for people to be happy. You simply cannot be sad when you listen to it,” he said. “My supporters must come and celebrate with me.”
