New hair guru in the block on road to outsmart opposition

Maliviwe Mazeke is set to make strides in beauty industry as he opened one of many salons in Khayelitsha.

Mazeke opened the Aesthetic Salon at Nonkqubela Link Mall, behind Khayelitsha Library in Site B.

He has since created job opportunities for five people.

The salon specializes in a variety of hairstyles such a dreadlocks, hair-pieces, cornrows, washing, freehand (amabhengu), twisters, make-up, nails and eyelashes.

Mazeke said the response that he is getting from his clients is good and that the salon has already won many hearts in its few weeks of existence.

“The response is very good and we are always busy.

This salon is so unique compare to other salons. We unsure that customers are safe at all times when they here.

There are security personnel in the vicinity. There is plenty of parking for customers with vehicles.

We are targeting everybody who wants to look beautiful, but we do not have barbershop services at the moment. The current focus is on ladies,” he added.

Aesthetic Salons is just one of the Mazeke Group small entities that are being established under his leadership and management direction.

Mazeke is an accredited service provider who also manages his MCDS Consulting firm.

The firm specialises in management, corporate compliance and brand development.

Zola Nompahla, a client, spoke highly of the services at the new salon.

“They know what they are doing. They did a great job and I am happy,” she said.
