On the eve of half a century, UCCSA to host special service

2016-09-29 06:00

The United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) will hold its 49th anniversary celebration on Sunday, October 2.

Sunday services will be held at different churches which have been selected to enable members to access a church closest to them on this day.

The UCCSA was founded on the 3rd October 1967 and since then, this day has become known as “Congregational Day”.

In cases where this day falls in a week, the first Sunday will be chosen to hold “Congregational Day” services.

The services also marks the official start of celebrations towards the UCCSA’s historic 50th anniversary celebrations which are set for 2017

In 2017, the UCCSA will convene in Durban, and a series of events will be held from 27th September to October 03. Contact Makhaya Manie 0760731358.
