Greetings everyone and welcome to 2017!

As this year had dawned on us so are our expectations for the year ahead. Some of us are carrying the burdens from 2016 with the hope that this is the year that things will go according plan. Some are approaching the year ahead with no tangible plans or ideas only hoping for miracles. Those with well defined plans or goals cannot wait to execute them.

Well people I just like to take opportunity to wish you all

a happy and a prosperous new year. May the grace of our Lord protect and deliver you from all negative aspects of life.

This year as usual promises to be eventful as usual if politics are your cup of tea. Our political climate has somewhat reached a pinnacle whereby crucial decisions need to be taken. As the ever patient people of Mzantsi we will wait and see.

On the sporting front eish and eish again and I will save everyone’s embarrassment by not touching on local football. All I can or challenge anyone out there to take up running I know this can change your lifestyle and help you towards a healthy way of life.

To all the matriculants who have succeeded congratulations, remembering that this is the beginning of your life’s journey that is also not easy and will need the same zeal you showed during your school career. To those who didn’t do well live and fight another day, it is not all over.

Last but not least my prayer goes out to all the families and my family too whose kids are affected by this epidemic of ‘tik’. I say let us stand firm. Good luck to you all for the year ahead.
