POPULAR pastor and musician Mfundo Tywaku (36) will revive your faith with his new album.

His fourth album, Isigqibo, was launched at the Salvation Church of the Revival of Faith in Makhaza, Khayelitsha a fortnight ago.

Isigqibo has 10 powerful worship songs. He left his fans wanting more when he performed at the launch.

Tywaku said the title song, Isigqibo, is about the importance of making your own decisions.

“Whatever you do in life, the decision is always yours. If you do anything, bad or good, you’ve made that choice.”

Tywaku said he recorded the CD last year in Durban but only released it in February this year.

“I sold about 500 copies within three days of its release. Many more copies have been sold so far. I’m glad the people of Western Cape support my music.”

Tywaku said he’s working hard to touch the lives of people from all over Mzansi.

During the launch, the pastor donated school shoes to five children.

“I always try to give back. I’m here today because of the support I get from people. I’ll try to do something for the community every month, especially for kids.”

Top gospel artist Sgwili Zuma also entertained the crowd.

“We came all the way from Ethekwini to support Pastor Tywaku. He’s one of our own. We must stand together as gospel musicians. I’m happy for him and I wish him a successful career,” said Zuma.

Thabo Dube (33) said: “His music takes you to another level.

“It’s not about dancing, but about interacting with the Holy Spirit.”
