Masibulele Nikani, a cyclist at Bonga.Org Cycling Academy has left for Pretoria to further his cycling career after some great riding from the previous races in WP League.

“This feels like I am dreaming. Patsi used to be my senior at VLC and now I have nurtured him to become who he is, one would say the resilience and come back of Masibulele after two years not cycling has made him ;realize his potential in cycling,”

BCA is here to give everyone who is hungry for success an opportunity and fly higher” said Bonga Ngqobane.

Nikani said: “I feel very honored that today my dream has come true, for years I have always wanted to go ride in PTA and now BCA has made my dream a reality.

I just want to thank my managers and coaches and our sponsor, for with out them I wouldn’t have been where I am today.

This will my first time on a plane, and this a dream come true because when I was still a young boy in primary school I always dreamt of flying on day,” said Nikani.

“Bonga.Org Cycling Academy is a newly born baby but the achievements that we have so far shows that we have the potential to impact the lives and give youth of Khayelitsha and Eastern Cape opportunities,”said Lubabalo Bongweni Head Coach

Today is a dream come true for me and my son, I have no words to describe how I feel, but I just want to say Masibulele go out there and fly the TAS BCA flag and show others what we have,” sad Mr Nikani Senior, the father of Masibulele.

Masibulele is set to race Saturday after arriving in the country’s capital.

The results of the race will be announced soon.

BCA is a registered NPO which aims to develop the youth in every possible way; taking a holistic approach to youth development.

Masibulele is the second rider out of many who emerged from the development programme of the BCA and its capable mentors.

“I felt very emotional letting this young lion to go out wild and roll with other lions”, said Bonga Ngqobane chairman of the BCA.
