In an unrelated incident, officers were on patrol in Lusaka when they spotted three suspicious looking men, who proceeded to run in different directions. The officers noticed one suspect carrying a firearm and they managed to catch him.

Another suspect was arrested after he was spotted parking a bakkie which was reported stolen in Nyanga.

A 21-year-old suspect from Brown’s Farm was apprehended.

The suspects appeared in the Athlone Magistrate Court.

Another suspect was arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly raping a 12-year-old victim in Samora Machel.
