Taste the Culture Lifestyle Festival(TCLF) is only in its fourth year, but it is considered a must attend event in the calenders of lovers of good life and socialites alike.

The event is taking place at Rands Cape Town on Sunday.

TCLF marketing officer Leon Madolo said the event has been held at the Look Out Hill for the past three years, but that they have decided to test the ‘new market’ that Rands Cape Town offers.

“We want to make this festival a home to of good life lovers, a place where like minded people network and exchange ideas,” said Madolo.

Festival founder Siya Ntsizi (inset) said this year’ s edition will define the future of this event.

“We are testing new waters here, but we know our patrons will support us like they have done in the past three years defining it as Khayelitsha’s premium beverage, lifestyle and music festival,” Ntsizi said.

He urged people to come taste their way through selected range of wines, cocktails and spirits .

Ntsizi said celebrated winemakers, brewers’ and distillers behind favourite beverages will be be available to explain their mastery.

The wineries include Ekasi Cellar Door with their wide range of red, white and sparkling wines.

Sesifikile Wines, Igugu Wines and Ihlumelo Wines, both local brands, will also showcase their refreshing selection of wines at the event.

“We will also be working with established brands such as Distell and SAB,” he added.

Tickets are available at Rands Cape Town, at Webtickets and selected Pick ‘n Pay outlets from from R100 (which includes a tasting glass and coupon - access to over 15 tastings) and the R250 for VIP (which includes complimentary drinks, snacks and lunch and a complete experience).

A new addition to the fold is a beauty lounge, where our locally owned businesses, will showcase and offer their products to the masses.

The occasion encompasses various elements of live music, various exhibitions, cuisines, liquid refreshment education and brand activations. The event attracts diverse audiences throughout the Western Cape and beyond. Soul Kulture, Mshayi, Milli Bala, Afro-Soul Brothers will play.
