Rowing champion to talk at Iziko museum

One of the world’s top rowing champions will deliver a lecture in Cape Town at the end of February.

Dr Lizanne van Vuuren– one of a team of women who achieved a world first by rowing 8 446(13 514 kilometres) miles unsupported across the Pacific Ocean- will speak on “Rolling with the Waves” .

This takes place on Wednesday 27 February at Iziko Museum at 6PM. Admission is free for Friends of the South African Museum and a R30 donation is required from non-members. Visit www.coxlesscrew.com.
