Sam Smith, who needs no introduction, will be performing at the Grand Arena, GrandWest from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 April.

The first two shows are already sold out, but there are still tickets left for the last show on Thursday 18 April.

Elouise Matthys, the PR and promotions manager at GrandWest, advises that you buy your tickets as soon as possible as they are selling fast. “Sam Smith is such an incredible artist, this is going to be an amazing show,” she says.

Smith rose to fame in 2012 with his first hits “Latch” and “Lay Me Down”. In 2013 “La La La” became an instant number-one single in the UK. Since then this talented singer has gone from strength to strength. His heartfelt debut album, In the Lonely Hour, featuring the smash hit “Stay With Me”, sold 13 million copies globally. He was nominated for six Grammys, winning four, including for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. In 2015 he wrote the theme song for the James Bond movie Spectre called “The Thrill of It All”. That song won the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Tickets are available at Computicket from R575. The show starts at 20:00, with the doors opening at 18:30.
