Science week to be held O.R

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) will host the National Science Week at the OR Tambo Sports Complex f rom Monday August 7 to Thursday August 11.

The National Science Week, an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, is an annual countrywide celebration of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and innovation (STEMI) involving various stakeholders and/or role players conducting science-based activities during the week.

Guest speakers and exhibitors from Higher Education, the Science Council, the City of Cape Town, government as well as the private sector.

We thus request assistance in terms of advertising the event in the weeks leading up to it as well as covering the event itself during the course of the week of 7-11 August 2017.
