Yomelela Primary School, Kukhanyile Primary School and Eluxolweni Primary school pupils are the proud beneficiaries of the beenevolence of Mgebe Security Services who donated them school uniforms.

The 30 needy learners were thrilled to receive the donation last Friday.

Mzoliso Mafilika, the principal of Yomelela Primary School, said this was the second time that the company blessed them with school uniform.

“Last year, they donated uniforms to five schools, benefitting about 20 learners from each school.

“It is important for a parent to raise a child in a way that when he is old he or she will know that need to share with others. Mgebe is a good example of a child who was raised very well. I am very happy. A uniform is very important for children, because it makes them feel equal. They do not have inferior complex when they are wearing school uniforms. It gives them a sense of pride,” she said.

Pezisa Kompela, the mother of three children who benefited from the donation, said it was a relief for her.

“I am very happy for what he did for us. My children now look beautiful in the school uniform. I am unemployed and their father is also unemployed so we could not afford to buy them the uniform,” she said.

Nomajama Nyantsula, an aunt of Likhona Qudalele who benefited from the donation, said it will help her a lot.

“My sister could not afford to buy her the school uniform because she is still a student herself at False Bay College. I am very happy for her,” Nyantsula said.
