About 250 Khayelitsha students from Silulo Ulutho Technologies graduated on Saturday last week.

On the day, the students were sharing their experiences during the time they spent studying.

They were graduating from two courses offered by Silulo; Office Administration and end user computing.

One of the graduates, Kinotsi Silela said it was not easy for her to study the course, but because she had helpful classmates and a good teacher, she managed to finish.

“I’m thankful to my classmates, who helped me a lot and also we had the best teacher who was willing to help as well.

She said she is grateful for the opportunity she got of studying further and that she encourages others to register for the courses offered at Silulo.

Another student Fundiswa Mahlikihla said it was not easy for someone her age to be studying and working at the same time.

She said what got her through the course was the fact that she was focused and knew what she wanted.

“My advice to the next students of Silulo is that they must stay focused and know what they want and where they want to see themselves in future,” she said.

The founder of Silulo Luvuyo Rani said their courses are accredited by MICT SETA and that they are six months courses.

He said office administration costs R5 000 and End User Computing costs R4 100.

“We do offer bursaries to our students and anyone who is interested in registering for January next year can do so now because we are opened for registering,” said Rani.

Registration for 2019 starts in January
