On Saturday the local forum for the creative industry will the Indibano yeChamps Fan Park at Rands in Khayelitsha.

This event will be part of a nationwide soccer competition match between Kaizer Chiefs and main rivals Orlando Pirates.

The local forum for the creative industry, which was established last year, hosted its first event, called Indibano, whose aim was not only to unite local entertainers but to show their pulling power.

According to e-Hub organiser Thabo Mobo, the weekend event is a fund raiser for the day-to-day running of the forum.

“We tried to make the entry fee as low as we can as we still want the event to be accessible but also raise funds for the organisation.

Funds that will be able to help us do our day to day activities and grow the local industry,” said Mobo.

He said that all he preparations were in place for locals to watch the game at the venue and enjoy the entertainment that will be provided.

The entrance fee is R30 and gates will be opened at 12. There are also cash prizes to be won at the event.
