Still a chance for students

2016-01-21 06:00

South African students have until Sunday 14 February to apply for the Red Bull Can You Make It? Competition.

The competition is open to university student with an up-for-anything attitude and a sense of daring, but it’s also more about the journey than the destination as participants cover 1000 kilometres in a week, using nothing but Red Bull can as currency.

On April 12, the 165 selected teams will depart from one of the five Starting Points in Europe – Barcelona, Florence, Berlin, Edinburgh or Prague.

Besides exchanging cans of Red Bull for everything from food and accommodation to transport, teams will also visit checkpoints where they’ll be tasked with body and mind challenges, completing as many tasks on their adventure list as they can. Students must gather three university friends, create a one minute video explaining why they should be chosen and upload to before Sunday 14 February to apply.
