Our interpretation of entrepreneurship is sometimes subject to individual stories and often lacks inclusivity, particularly where women in business are concerned.

2 OceanVibe Radio host, Zizipho Dyubeni would like to change this single story narrative by attempting to create a presence of absolute collaboration that allows for collective growth.

Having started by penning down ‘Love Your Natural Silhouette’, the intention was to create a space where women would be afforded an opportunity to really tap into how they engage in their environments.

This led Dyubeni to do a bit of introspection.

As she was putting together one of her spectacular showcases, she quickly realized that she would need services and products that would ensure the event crossed all the T’s and dotted all the I’s.

Her search for the best, unique and most importantly local produced products led her to stumble-upon young start up entrepreneurs waiting for the break where someone would just give them a chance to show off their skills.

Dyubeni, in true feminist form, took on these young female entrepreneurs so that they’re given a chance to show-off their services or sell their products to the delegates who would attend.

From gifting to beauty and cosmetics, right down through to partnering with industry professionals to deliver a successful, inspiring collaboration.

“I quickly realized that by collaborating with young, aspirational women trying to turn their passion into an income meant that, I was opening a channel for income opportunities.

An example of this would be, our partnership with Founder of Uju Nails Nconyelwa Nondonga who is an incredibly talented nail technician.

Nconyelwa offers discounted nail tech services to our patrons exclusively which will open a window for new business on both our ends.

I found this to be a heart-warming example of how powerful this idea of sharing a paycheck can be when executed with pure intention in the form of supporting each other”, says Dyubeni.

“I must also mention that I may have not found it valuable to collaborate with another young business had I not been cognisant of how we can all be of a contribution to the growth of an economy led by females who recognize the significance of collaboration in business”, Dyubeni added.

Love Your Natural Silhouette is a network for women to come together.
