The annual Cape Summer Picnic promises to be a sizzling affair that no fun loving Capetonian should give a miss.

The outing will feature top dawgs the likes of Black Coffee, Naak Musiq, Tira and Sox, Professor and locals like Sir Vincent and , Mshayi Mbeki.

Booka-T’ entertainment’s Dennis Kanye said the annual event has been going for six years running and has grown in popularity with every show.

“Last year the event attracted thousands of people and this year’s event promises to be even bigger.

We have decided to find a new and bigger venue to accommodate all the people,” said Kanye.

The show will be staged at the Old Macassar Cricket Field, which is huge with ample parking space as well as a beautiful concert area, with enough space to picnic, mingle and dance to a reveller’s content.

“We have been preparing this venue for the past three months,” he said.

Other acts include Prince Kaybee, Black Motion, Professor, Fifi Cooper, Moozlie, DJ Mizz, Idols heartthrob, Lungisa, D-Rock, Dilo Xcluciv, DJ Kaunda, Ms Eve, The Rands King and DJ Shuffles. Natasha Thahane, supported by Shaka da MC, will be Master of Ceremonies.

The event is on November 26th and starts at 10am sharp until 10pm.

Admission is R175 at Computicket and R200 at the gate. VIP tickets are R350 at Computicket and R400 at the gate.

This event certainly promises to be the party of the year, as all the previous ones have. Kanye urged revellers to book in time to avoid disappointment.
