2018-05-17 06:00

The Shield Sbonis’ iDiski Regional trials are coming to Cape Town this weekend.

We are looking for five top amateur soccer talents to move on to the finals, where they could earn the opportunity to train with Chelsea FC in London.

They can also get the chance to score a one year contract with the Orlando Pirates FC Development Team!

The second week of trials kick off in Cape Town on Saturday, 19th May at Ikamva in Parow from 8am.

Former Bafana Bafana defender Siphiwe Mkhonza and Orlando Pirates will be scouting for young talented players, with one lucky and soccer star being chosen to join the Orlando Pirates Development Team at the end of the campaign.

We’d love for you to please join us at these trials to see all the action as we select players and also chat with some of our well-known and celebrated coaches.

Over the next couple of weeks, Shield will be hosting regional trials across the country to give young aspiring soccer players the opportunity to prove their skills and battle it out for the top 5 spot as the best in Johannesburg and get one step closer to training at Chelsea and win a one-year development contract with the Orlando Pirates Development Team. Shield coaches, Siphiwe Mkhonza, Dumisani Thusi and Orlando Pirates Coaches will be at the trials looking for the top 5 players in Johannesburg.
