Tovey cheers Kabo Yello

2016-10-27 06:00

SAFA technical director Neil Tovey said he felt “touched and humbled” by the support he has received, while he also congratulated Mamelodi Sundowns on winning the CAF Champions League.

Tovey was yesterday discharged from a Durban hospital a week after suffering a second heart attack, having also had one in February 2015.

“I am now home but it will take time to fully recover as my major organs; the lungs, kidneys and heart had collapsed.

“I will take it step by step and do regular checks ups,” said Tovey, who watched highlights of Downs’ 3-1 win over Zamalek on aggregate.
