A shepherd for more than two decades kwa-Langa.

It is disheartening to have lost a cultured man that has devoted all his manhood and life to the assistance and development of Ukwaluka, the sacred journey to manhood.

His selfless attitude for the welfare of others and other communities needs to be the foundation to learn for others and be celebrated for his altruism.

Bhele has played his role in ensuring that ukwaluka as an ancient journey in the Xhosa tradition is kept alive.

That it should never be allowed to be undermined by its practitioners and outsiders in equal measure, is thanks to his untiring efforts at its preservation. Siyabulela Jonga Ama-Bhele, Langa lokulunga. Bhele will be laid to rest on Saturday, 21 April 2018, at his home in Bitterhout, kwa Langa.
