Three people have been arrested murder in two unrelated cases in Kuyasa and Town Two, Khayelitsha.

According to Harare SAPS the first incident took place at SST informal settlement where a 61-year-old man was arrested on Saturday.

“He was allegedly involved in the killing of a man in Town Two, Khayelitsha. The victim’s body was found in one of the streets full of blood and was transported to hospital where he later died.

The initial investigation has led to the arrest of a suspect also residing at SST,”said Harare spokesperson Captain Siyabulela Vukubi. In an unrelated incident at 60 Block in Kuyasa, Khayelitsha, a 26 year old victim was killed on Sunday 26 February.

“At approximately 04:30 the lifeless body of the victim was found lying in the pool of blood and he was declared dead on the scene.

It was revealed that the victim had an argument with the suspects and the fight ensued. Further information received has led to the arrest of two suspects aged 24 and 29 residing at Kuyasa.
