Sounds of joy reverberated through the walls of the Endlovini Community Hall in New Crossroads as The Christ Healing Fountain Ministries held a uniform ceremony a fortnight ago, thus bringing in to the realm of their service a new era.

It was the first time in its eight years of existence that the church held the ceremony.

Church secretary Kholeka Dudumashe said the “uniforms separated congregants according to units”.

“Women of certain ages and marital status would wear a certain colour uniform,” she said.

She added that the congregants were “excited” to be part of the experience.

“It was a joyous occasion and Apostle Mnapu remarked that though uniform separated ‘sheep from goat’, it was each and everyone’s heart that mattered,” said Kholeka.

The congregation had earlier witnessed the ordination of about 15 pastors in the service of the Christ Healing Church, which is led by Apostle David Mteteleli Mnapu.

“This is a great occasion for the ministry... We unveil new uniforms and we unleash fifteen pastors to continue the work of God,” said Apostle Mnapu.

The 15 pastors were: Xolile Fula, Lungile Mtwana, Lungile Groom, Martha Mahote, Nobesuthu Tom, ThembinkosI Masiza, Thulani Nqoji, Masibulele Mgidi, Alulutho Sigonya, Elvis Ngcakaza, Simo Luwaca, Sivuyile Totolo, Lulama Dlelaphantsi, Nonkalipho Gwadela and Paul Simon Fumile.
