More than 300 needy members of the World Harvest Christian Ministry’s received donations of clothing and groceries by the the founder of the church, Dr Archbishop Lucas Mnqantsa and his wife Lady Apostle Nomalungelo Mnqantsa.

This is an annual event in the church’s calender.

Regarded as the church’s vision bearer, Mnqantsa said this was a day of treating his congregants and the community of Langa.

“We are mostly dependent on organisations for donations and individuals who open their hearts to the ministry in support of the vision”.

His wife, Lady Mnqantsa said “We are bringing happiness to many people, who, in these trying economic times are deeply affected and desperate.

“We bring them a little bit of relief.”

Lady Mnqantsa directed the distribution of clothes and food to the congregants and members of the community.

The vision bearers are appealing to the corporate community to contribute towards this vision to help alleviate poverty in areas of the Western Cape and beyond.

Reciting from the scriptures, Archbishop Mnqantsa said “the corporate community and well-off individuals should not neglect good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
