Silukhanyo Primary School in Asanda Village held a Youth Day celebration on Friday 15 June, where learners showcased their dancing skills and were taught about the importance of this day on their calendar. Youth Connect, Youth Take Over, Kuyakhanya Productions and the City of Cape Town created a platform where the youth of Strand could come together and address the socio-economic challenges that the youth of 1976 faced and the ones that the youth of today encounter.
