We have lost the ways of old

2017-11-30 06:00

A nation that strays from its culture has a lot to loose.

How can a man demand sex from a woman who gave birth a month ago and then kill her for refusing to do so.

Such behaviour is not in line with African beliefs. Because we have abandoned the ways of our forefathers, we are now faced with problems they did not encounter. It was during the apartheid era that we lost everything, including our values and identity.

That is why we behave like barbarians now. Part of our national anthem is a plea to God to bless the country and send the Holy Spirit to our people. How can the Holy Spirit live in a country where prostitution and abortion are legal?

It is time for us to return to our old way of living. That is the only way we will have peace.
