MEMBERS of the Checkout Verulam Falcons AC participated in the 30th Leg of of Asmal’s Hypersave on Sunday, October 15.

The development league’s success was clearly noticeable with the healthy number of participants as well as the increased number of people stepping up and covering the 15km distance.

Suzie Ruthnam, Christy Ruthnam, Steve Reddy and Thembisile Mkhize were ecstatic to be back on the road after taking a few weeks break.

The Ruthnams tackled the 15km while Reddy and Mkhize completed 10km.

Kareena Moodley, encouraged by her grandmother Maureen Gordon, completed the 5km time trials route over the past weeks. Checkout Verulam Falcons AC wished Hindus a blessed Diwali/Deepavali and best wishes to matriculants as they begin their final exams.
