ONCE again the Living in a Chair Foundation was out feeding in the community.

This time, 437 kids from Siphosethu Primary school were fed.

The organisation thanked the Methodist church and BB Bread who provided much-needed resources to make the event a possibility.

“The respect that we got from these pupils was something you don’t see every day,” said the foundation in a statement.

“Most of the kids come from a very poor background and travel from as far as Chopper Town, Blackburn, Waterloo and Amoati but this does not stop them trying their utmost best to further their education.”

“Most of the kids that attend this school are from child headed families and Foster Cared children who can afford the schools fees.

“The school is located in an urban area therefore the government’s subsidy is very low.

“Their challengers are their water account and a shelter to hold morning assemblies in.

“Therefore Living in a chair foundation is pledging for any assistance for us to head this project to help Siphosethu Primary with the above.”
