TWO people were injured in a head on collision along the R102 in Shakaskraal on Monday morning.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha, paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles, with some of the injured still trapped in the wreckages.

“Paramedics worked tirelessly to stabilise the two seriously injured patients at the scene, after mobilising them on trauma boards and removing them from the twisted frames of the vehicles, they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.”
