MICHAEL Korb joined Holiday Inn in 1976. He qualified as a sous chef in 1982 from WITS Hotel School.Kord joined Wild Coast Sun in 1982 where he worked for 19 years. “I have been in the catering industry for 39 years as a member of the SA Chefs Association.After a visit by a friend of our organisation I was inspired to start up this school this year for students who won’t be able to afford the normal rates attached to a chef school. From then I have been promoting and getting this chef school ready for the students this year in co-ordination with the management of Missions Ablaze.”They will be hosting an Open Day on 28 January and look forward to answering more questions from interested parties. - Supplied.
