Calypso bounce back

2017-11-16 06:00

CALYPSO Sporting FC took on Railways FC in an indoor Safa league match on Friday, November 3.

Going into the match, the club wanted to bounce back from their last narrow defeat.

Calypso as usual took control of the match and exerted their dominance and were rewarded with a goal under a minute from the start.

Calypso, after scoring, did not lose momentum and controlled the match for most of the first and second half with some creative work and good defending that saw them win the match 5-2.

Club spokesperson Strini Moodley said: “This was a good performance from the team that they needed to focus and stay in touch of the league while other clubs will be looking for results to go their way if they want to win the league.”
