UTHONGATHI Football Club (Cane Cutters) earned two points after playing to a 1-1 draw with Pretoria University on August 25.

The Tongaat team are now gearing up for their next game, against Ubuntu Cape Town, which will be held at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on September 2. The team is sitting at number 11 on the national First Division log.

Speaking on behalf of the supporters, Ndumiso Maphumulo urged all players to support the team.
