DIANTHUS Primary school celebrated its 30th anniversary in grand style at their school recently.

The staff of Dianthus Primary formed the number 30 on their soccer field and released 30 helium balloons.

Mr SM Naidoo who represented the school governing body applauded the school on the sterling work produced.

He said pupils were fortunate to have an education at this institution as it is the most sought after school in the area.

The highlight of the function was the cutting of the 30th anniversary cake.

One of the senior teachers, Mrs S Singh who opened the doors of the school, educated the pupils on the history of Dianthus Primary.

The function culminated with a variety of spectacular dances and each pupil received a little hamper with goodies. - Supplied.
