Don’t give up on fulfilling the law of Christ

2018-02-22 06:00

THE first of the 2018 One Day Assembly for Circuit 4B, for congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses from Newlands, Durban North, Phoenix East, Phoenix West, Phoenix Central, Foresthaven, Verulam, La Mercy and Umhlanga, will be held at the Stanmore Civic Hall on Grove End Drive in Phoenix on Sunday, February 18.

The theme of the assembly is based on the scripture found in the Bible at Galatians 6:2, which reads: “Go on carrying the burdens of one another, and in this way you will fulfil the law of the Christ.”

A series of well-prepared talks, experiences, interviews, demonstrations and symposiums will develop the theme and answer the following questions.

1. What is the law of the Christ?

2. How can we fulfil the law of the Christ when unseen by humans?

3. How do we fulfil the law of the Christ when we preach?

4. What makes the law of the Christ superior to the Mosaic law?

The assembly programme will commence at 9.40 am and will include a break for association with the nine congregations attending. The afternoon session will commence at 1.20 pm.

The summary of the Watchtower is titled: “Parents, help your children become wise for salvation”. The assembly will conclude with the talk, “Love one another, just as Jesus loved you”.

Entry is free and no collections are taken, all are welcome.
