DR Terence Moodley has recently launched a new scientific, evidence-based rehabilitation model of hope. This programme has been designed to achieve phenomenal success rates in the treatment of addiction to opioids eg, sugars, whoonga, nyaope and heroine amongst other substances of abuse.
This is a Netherlands-based model that has been implemented here in South Africa since April 2017 at his first of its kind Opioid Substitute Therapy Centre in Umbilo, Durban.
Dr Terence Moodley spearheads this initiative and the programme has been widely accepted and approved by key stakeholders, viz national Department of Health and Department of Social Development.
He has now extended this to an inpatient facility in Verulam creating access to those in need in these surrounding areas. He is now also a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for pilots, cabin crew members and airport ground staff conducting the stringent medical examination needed for the validity of their licence.
In addition to these services offered, Dr T Moodley has been given accreditation by Centre of Diabetes and Endocrinology (CDE) to be a registered CDE practice, due to his special interest in diabetes.
His primary practice is at 4 Cassia Road, Chelmsford Heights, Tongaat, 4400.
Kindly contact his rooms on 032 944 3456/1633 for further information and/or appointments.
During this festive period, Dr T Moodley and staff would like to take the opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
