Exciting week for Tonver pupils

TONVER pupils are involved in a series of sporting activities for the coming weekend. On Friday, May 26, the KZN Departments of Education and Sports and Recreation will hold their Pinetown District Trials for the winter codes for U13, U15 and U17 divisions. Soccer, volleyball and netball for boys and girls will take place at the Sirpat Road Grounds whilst chess moves to the KwaMashu Sports Centre. The bus for Sirpat Road Grounds leaves the Tongaat Sports Centre at 7.15am and at Verulam Secondary will leave at 7.30am.
Chess pupils will leave from Verulam Secondary at 7.30am. Pupils selected here will represent Pinetown at the Provincial Games in June. On Saturday, May 27, the department will hold its Youth Run at the Inanda Dam in the U14 and U19 divisions.
The bus will depart from the Tongaat Town Hall at 7.00am.The Tonver preliminary fixtures will be on Saturday, May 27. Table tennis for all divisions will be held at the Tongaat Sports Centre commencing at 8.00am. Secondary Schools U14 in netball and volleyball will take place at the Outspan Grounds whilst soccer will be at the Buffelsdale Stadium.
These are Tonver games final qualifiers.
