Fair to raise funds to be held

FEEDY Needy, a non-profit organisation that does charity work in communities and schools around Durban, will be holding an Easter fun fair to raise funds for its various programmes.

The organisation conducts drives at schools and communities which include meals, food hampers, school stationery and education and training programmes.

The fair will take place from 7 to 10 April at the Rydalvale grounds in Phoenix and organisers have invited the public to help make the event a success to ensure the programmes its runs continue to reach the needy.

Some of the offerings at the fair will be live entertainment, stand-up comedy, games, bhangra, nagara, stalls, children’s party and edufare, senior citizens party­, fun rides and a disco­.

The organisers invite the public to auditions which they will hold on 20 February, 27 February and 5 March, from 9am-3pm at the Feedy Needy offices at Brailsford Primary­ School at 57 Brailsford Avenue, Phoenix.
