Family appeals for support

A LOCAL teenager is in desperate need of assistance for funds due to epileptic seizures that she suffers almost every day.

Nadine Mayelall urgently needs to have an MRI scan done and her parents are appealing to the community to assist with funds.

According to her mom, due to the seizures, Nadine’s brain cells are dying and she could eventually lose her memory and possibly go brain dead.

The scan costs R16 500. Hotshots

Nightclub is hosting an event in aid of funds for Nadine.

They hosting a night of entertainment with a live eastern band and Bollywood fusion show.

The event costs R50 per person and starts at 7.30pm. Residents are urged to attend and enjoy a night of entertainment and at the same time raise much-needed funds for Nadine.

Transport for the event will be provided at all stops between Belvedere and Tongaat.
