FEEDY Needy representatives recently distributed McDonald’s meals, courtesy of the Rajcoomar family from Verulam recently, who celebrated their daughter’s birthday with this charitable gesture.

The meals, toys and juice were given to indigent pupils from Everest Height Primary in Verulam.

Each year the family treats indigent pupils in various areas on their children’s birthdays.

Feedy Needy said in a statement: “What better way to teach our children the importance if sharing and reminding them that it’s better to give than to receive because the blessings that unfold are infinitive.

“Feedy Needy also joined the Rajcoomar family and sponsored loaves of bread. Initiatives such as these are vital in our communities and should be carried out daily to ensure that no child is left hungry.

The children were delighted with the kind gesture and enjoyed the meals.”

Feedy Needy thanked the Rajcoomars and promised to continue assisting in bringing smiles to those less fortunate.

The organisation also visited Mahatma Primary in Phoenix and handed over porridge and bread.

Those who want to be part of the feeding scheme, must contact the offices on 031 824 6501 or email admin @feedyneedy.com - Supplied.
