KWINI Kuza is a band made up of children ranging in age from 12 to 14 from Kwa-Dukuza and Durban who are making their name in the entertainment industry. 

The band is to entertain at the Tongaat Charity Fair this year.
Kwini Kuza performs original and cover songs across multiple genres including African, pop, house and rock.

The band was formed in February last year and has quickly become the premier children’s band in South
Africa due to their numerous achievements.

Individually the members of the group have performed on television, at major events and shows and been featured in newspaper and magazine articles.

The name of the group comes from where the children grew up – eThekwini and KwaDukuza, hence Kwini Kuza­.

Kwini Kuza members, Entle Mdletshe (14), Siphokazi Gebashe (14), Lusanda Majola (13), Saiyan Naidoo (12), Sabian Lee Singh (13) and Neo Mooi (13) are taking the coast by storm with their immense talent.

The group has performed on stages around KZN including The Ballito Pro, White Mountain Festival, KZN Music Imbizo, Awesome Ilembe Music Festival,
Shisa Nyama Festival, Zini Music Festival and Tongaat Charity Fair.

In December 2016 they performed at the Durban Jazz Festival in front of an audience of 15000 people.

The band shared a stage with Hugh Masekela, Zahara and Unathi at the festival.

They have also shared the stage with some of South Africa’s biggest artists including
Mafikizolo, Sketchy Bongo, Lira, Jimmy Dludlu and Kelly Khumalo.

Kwini Kuza completed the recording of their first single, titled­ Shayingoma which was released in August 2016.

The music video for Shayingoma was released in September.
