IN view of the increasing global poverty and economic hardships endured by many, Gift of the Needy embarked on several local and international food hamper distributions this Ramadaan.

Our international relief efforts includes food hamper distributions to affected Syrian refugee families, provisions for Sehri and Ifthar for impoverished communities in the north of Mozambique - in  Macicate Island, Mozambique and for the inhabitants of Cape Verde  from West-Africa. Food hampers, chicken and other essentials were sponsored till the end of Ramadaan.

We are grateful to all our benefactors for partnering with us to bring hope and relief to those in distress and for making this most auspicious month a truly blessed one for the beneficiaries.

We hope to continue to bring relief after Ramadaan and make a humble plea to benefactors to help us end the cycle of poverty and hunger that sadly affects so many vulnerable groups including widows, orphans, refugees, the aged and the sick and the infirm.
